With a focus on the third UAP: Journeying with Youth – Accompany young people in the creation of a hope-filled future, the Youth and Vocation Promotion team decided on two goals: a) 500 youth accompanied have made their life choices and have become women and men for others, and b) every year 3-5 youth accompanied, have made their vocational discernment and entered the Jesuit novitiate. The core Youth and Vocation Promotion team comprises 10 young Jesuits and 30 religious/ lay collaborators engaged in various Province works/institutions. All the team members have generously and magnanimously committed and own up to the PAP. In our spiritual conversations, during the process of drawing up the PAP, we experienced the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Some of the planned activities have already begun at the local level in our schools and parishes and also cluster-wise at the regional level. We plan to have a review of our progress every six months and a major review after two years. Trusting in the words of Jeremiah 29:11, we commit together to God’s plans to prosper and give young people a hope-filled future.
